FRENCH TOAST 
8 slices Italian, French, or Challah bread
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Dash of salt and pepper
Butter or non-stick cooking spray
Powdered sugar; optional
Syrup
butter

Heat griddle or fry pan to medium high heat. Blend eggs, milk, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Spray pan or coat with butter. Dip each slice of bread in egg mixture, turning over, and soaking well. Fry in pan or griddle 5 minutes on each side. Remove to plate, cut in half. sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve with butter and syrup.
