BAKED GOUDA EN CROUTE 
1 (7 oz.) pkg. gouda cheese, round
1 (4 oz.) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
2 tsp. strawberry preserves
1 egg white, beaten

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Remove wax casing from cheese. Separate crescent rolls into 2 rectangles. Place rectangles together to form a square; seal perforations. Spoon preserves over center of dough.

Place cheese in center of dough; bring corners over cheese, pinch edges to seal; place seam side down on cookie sheet. Brush dough with egg white. Bake 16 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut into wedges, serve warm.

Prep time 10 minutes. Baking time 15 minutes.
