ROAST FOR THE WEEKEND 
1 (2 to 4 lb.) eye of the round beef roast
Salt
Pepper
Tabasco
Garlic cloves, slivered
1 (.87 oz.) pkg. brown gravy mix
1 (.87 oz.) pkg. mushroom gravy mix

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Season roast with salt and pepper. Rub well with Tabasco sauce. Pierce roast at intervals and stuff with garlic. Wrap loosely in heavy foil, place in a roasting pan and bake for 2 1/2 hours.

Unwrap and place on platter. Pour juices into the pan and add enough hot water to dissolve the gravy mixes properly. Slice meat thinly and put into the gravy. Return to oven, covered for 15 minutes. Good as an entree with rice or potatoes or use for hot sandwiches.
