1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 can (lb.) Hershey syrup 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped nuts Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla and syrup and beat well. Add dry ingredients and beat until blended then add nuts. Bake in 15 x 10 inch pan for 25 minutes in 350 degree oven. FROSTING: 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. milk 2 tbsp. butter 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Cook sugar, milk and butter in heavy pan to full boil. Add chocolate pieces and remove from heat and beat until melted. Spread on brownies immediately and cut into squares. |
