GLORIFIED CABBAGE 
1 tbsp. butter/oleo
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 tsp. mustard
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 1/3 c. milk
2 c. coarsely shredded cabbage
1 c. onion, sliced thin
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. buttered bread crumbs

Melt butter in pan. Add salt, pepper and mustard. Stir constantly until bubbly. Add milk, continue stirring until thickened. Add egg yolk and cook 1 minute.

Place 1/2 of cabbage, onions, cheese and cream sauce into baking dish 9 x 13 inch or larger. Then place remaining on top of cabbage. Top with buttered crumbs. Cover and bake at 370 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake until lightly brown, about 5 minutes. Grease dish.
