SPECIAL OCCASION PUNCH 
3 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. lemon juice
1 lg. can pineapple juice
1 1/2 qt. cold ginger ale
3 pkg. any flavor Jello
1 gallon plus 1 qt. cold water

Dissolve Jello in 1 quart of boiling water; put sugar in while hot; add lemon juice, pineapple juice, Jello and 1 gallon of water. Stir until all is dissolved well. Pour into plastic jugs and freeze.

Just before serving, add chilled ginger ale. If desired, add ice cubes or crushed ice. Makes 2 gallons.
