1 pkg. yellow cake mix
2 lb. ricotta cheese
4 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour into 13 x 9 x 3 inch pan. Mix ricotta, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Pour on top of cake mix and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours or until done. Cut into squares when cool. Top with cherry pie filling or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
