BEAN DIP 
1/2 med. onion, chopped
1 to 2 garlic cloves, minced
1 can pinto or white kidney beans
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tbsp. cumin powder
1/2 tbsp. garlic powder
Dried cilantro or parsley
Cayenne pepper
Tabasco sauce (optional)
2 tbsp. salsa (optional)

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in pan. Add onion and garlic cloves. Cook until tender. Add beans. Heat for a couple of minutes. Add seasonings to taste. Stir. Mash slightly with potato masher. Cook on low for 20 minutes, stirring often.
