FRUIT TORTE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. flour (sifted)
1 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
2 lg. eggs
Sliced fruit (skin side up), e.g., peaches, apples, plums or 1 pt. blueberries
Lemon juice
Cinnamon
Flour

1. Cream sugar and butter in food processor (or by hand).

2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

3. Mix ingredients of #1 and #2 with 2 eggs.

4. Place dough in 9 inch pan (round/square).

5. Cover with selection of berries/fruit (don't skimp).

6. Sprinkle top with cinnamon (lots), lemon juice and flour. Recipe can be doubled.
