SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
1 env. regular onion soup mix
1/2 c. water
2 eggs
3/4 c. chili sauce
3/4 c. water
2 lb. lean ground beef
1 (16 oz.) sauerkraut, drained
1 (8 oz.) whole cranberry sauce
1/3 c. brown sugar

Combine onion soup and 1/2 cup water. Beat in eggs with fork. Add beef and mix well. Shape into meatballs. Combine sauerkraut, cranberry sauce, chili sauce, 3/4 cup water and brown sugar. Pour half of mixture into 9 x 13 inch pan. Brown meatballs, drain fat and layer on sauerkraut. Pour remaining sauerkraut over meatballs. Cover and bake 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.
