MICROWAVE MEXICAN CASSEROLE
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 can condensed cream of onion soup
1 can chopped green chili (4 oz.)
1 c. mild taco sauce
1 pkg. corn chips (6 1/4 oz.)
2 c. shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 c. chopped black olives

Place ground beef in 2 quart glass measure or microwave-type casserole; break up with fork. Add onion. Use high power and cook 10 minutes, or until beef is no longer red and onion is transparent. Stir in break up meat; drain. Stir in soup and chili.

In large oval microwave-type casserole, place about 2 cups corn chips. Layer each half of the meat mixture with taco sauce and cheese. Repeat. Use half power and cook 17-19 minutes, or until heated thoroughly. Sprinkle with remaining corn chips and olives. Let stand 3 minutes before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
