EGG NOG | |
6 eggs 1 c. powdered confectioners' sugar 1 1/2 qt. milk 1 c. brandy 2/3 c. rum 1 1/2 qt. vanilla ice cream Beat egg yolks until light and creamy. Add 1/2 cup sugar. Gradually add liquor. Chill 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Beat egg whites stiff with remaining 1/2 cup sugar. To first mixture add milk. Fold in ice cream and add beaten egg whites. This is a knock-out at Holiday gatherings! Everyone wants the recipe, and more egg nog. |
