GROUND BEEF AND WILD RICE
CASSEROLE
 
1/2 c. wild rice
1/2 c. regular rice
3 c. boiling water
6 tbsp. bacon fat
2 cans sliced mushrooms and liquid
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 bay leaf
1/2 c. chopped parsley
2 bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 c. hot water

Pour boiling water over rice. Let stand 15 minutes and drain. Brown onion in fat. Add meat and brown. Combine all ingredients. Let stand in casserole overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Yield: 12 servings.
