TORTILLA CHIPS WITH FIESTA
COFFEE DIP
 
Flour tortillas
Oil for frying
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 tbsp. mild flavored honey
2 to 3 tbsp. coffee liqueur
Cinnamon or nutmeg

Cut or tear tortillas into snack-size pieces. Fry in hot oil (375 degrees) for 2 or 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Drain on paper towels. For dip, whip cream until almost stiff. Add honey and coffee liqueur. Beat 1 minute longer or until mixture holds in soft peaks. Turn into serving bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.
