SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE 
6 c. mashed potatoes
1 1/2 sticks butter
2 cans condensed milk
3 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 tbsp. each of vanilla and nutmeg

TOPPING:

2 c. crushed cornflakes
1 stick butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix all the above ingredients very well and when well mixed, put in 9 x 13 inch ungreased pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees.

Topping: Melt butter; set aside from heat. Mix all the other ingredients in the melted butter; mix well.

After the potatoes have been in oven for 15 minutes, remove from oven and sprinkle the topping on top of potatoes and return to oven and bake 15 or 20 minutes longer or until the potatoes are firm.
