JANET'S ENGLISH TOFFEE 
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1 c. butter
1 c. chocolate chips or 18 oz. Hershey's bar
1 c. nuts, chopped fine

Combine first 4 ingredients; bring to a boil. Cook to 300 degrees. Stir constantly towards the end. Pour onto large buttered cookie sheet. Place chocolate on top. Spread when melted and sprinkle with nuts.
