JIFFY PEACH COBBLER | |
1 lg. can peaches, sliced 1 stick butter 1 c. flour 1 c. sugar 2/3 c. milk 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. vanilla Melt the stick of butter in a shallow baking dish. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, milk and vanilla; blend well. Pour this batter over the melted butter. Lay the peaches on top of the batter evenly and add "most" of the juice. Bake at 350 degrees for around 40 to 50 minutes. Batter will cover peaches while baking. NOTE: Cherry pie filling can be substituted (add a little more milk to batter). Delicious too! |
