STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
1/3 c. water
1/2 c. instant rice
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. ketchup
1 tsp. seasoned salt
3 lg. green peppers, cut in half
1 tbsp. salt

Mix together ground beef, rice, egg, onion, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

Arrange green pepper halves in an 11 x 7 1 2 inch microwave-safe baking dish. Fill with meat mixture. Mix remaining tomato sauce, water and sugar. Pour over green peppers and cover with tight-fitting lid or plastic wrap.

Microwave on medium high (70%) for 20 to 25 minutes or until meat is no longer pink and green pepper is tender. Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
