ECONOMY BEEF STROGANOFF | |
1 1/2 lbs. stew beef, cut in cubes 2 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 c. beef bouillon 2 tbsp. ketchup 1 sm. garlic clove or 1/8 tsp. garlic salt 8 oz. can mushroom soup 1 med. onion or 1/2 c. 3 tbsp. flour 1 c. sour cream Brown meat in butter. Add bouillon less 1/3 cup. Add ketchup, garlic, or salt. Bring to boil. Simmer until meat is done, 1 1/2 hours. Add mushrooms and onions. Cook until onions are tender. Mix the 1/3 cup bouillon with the flour and add slowly to mixture. Bring to boil and add sour cream. Pour over cooked noodles. 3 to 4 cups hot noodles. |
