"EASY" PRUNE CAKE 
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 c. sugar
3 lg. eggs
1 c. Crisco oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sm. jars prunes (baby food)
1 c. pecans, chopped

ICING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. milk
Pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Butter and dust with flour 3 (9 inch) round pans. Mix all cake ingredients. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.

In a saucepan, add sugar and butter; bring to a rolling boil. Add milk; boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add salt and vanilla. Mix well then add confectioners' sugar. Beat until spreading consistency. Spread between and over cake. Cake can be baked in sheet pan.
