SAUSAGE BREAD | |
1 loaf white frozen bread dough 1 lb. Italian sausage (mild or hot) 6 oz. shredded white cheese (Jack, Brick, Muenster) 2 tsp. Italian spices or more to taste 2 eggs Parmesan cheese Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Thaw bread. Roll out into 18 x 6 inch rectangle. Fry sausage. Drain and cool. Add 1 beaten egg, cheese and spices; mix well. Spread on top of bread within 1 inch of edges. Roll up lengthwise. Pinch edges together and shape into circle. Place on greased cookie sheet. Beat 2nd egg and brush on top of bread. Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 30 minutes or until bread puffs and is golden brown. |
