CARAMEL PEANUT BARS 
1 1/2 c. quick oats
1 1/2 flour
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 pkg. caramels
1/2 c. whipping cream (or pet milk)
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. chopped peanuts

Mix the first 6 ingredients and set 1 cup aside, put the rest in a 9 X 13 pan.

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Melt caramel and cream, stir often. Sprinkle chocolate chips and peanuts over 9 X 13 mixture, put caramel mixture over top. Sprinkle 1 c. reserve over top.

Bake 15-20 minutes at 350°F.
