CHEWEY PRALINES 
1 c. butter
1 c. light corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
2 to 4 c. pecans
1 box light brown sugar
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla

In a heavy 4-cup saucepan, heat butter, sugar, syrup, milk and salt. Bring to rolling boil, stirring constantly with wooden spoon until candy thermometer reads 250°F. Remove from heat and add vanilla and pecans. Cool a few minutes and place by spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Let sit overnight.
