HOOMUS 
1 can chick peas, drained
3 tbsp. sesame seed paste (tahini)
1 clove garlic, crushed
Approximately 1/2 tsp. salt
Lemon juice to taste (approximately 1 lemon)

Wash and drain chick peas. Place in blender or food processor and puree with approximately 1/4 cup water until smooth. Add tahini, garlic, salt, lemon juice and blend. Pour into serving bowl; garnish with paprika and parsley and chill. Serve with sliced sweet onion and pocket bread. Serves 6.
