TANDOORI CHICKEN 
2 broiler fryer chickens, cut up into 8 pieces (approx. total 6 lb.)

MARINADE:

1 c. plain low-fat yogurt
1/2 c. lemon juice
4 tsp. each ground coriander seeds
Cumin & salt
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. turmeric
3/4 tsp. ground red pepper

Mix marinade ingredients in large bowl or heavy plastic bag. Add chicken. Cover bowl or close bag. Marinate in refrigerator 24-48 hours, turning chicken several times. Drain chicken. Discard marinade.

To Grill: 4-6 inch over hot coals for 15-20 minutes per side or until juices run clear when meat is pierced.

To Broil: Set oven to broil - cook 4-5 inch from heat 15-20 minutes per side until done. 6 servings.
