SHARON B.'S STRAW COOKIES | |
4 stick butter, softened 1 1/4 c. sugar 5 c. flour FROSTING: 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. milk Food coloring (to decorate) Mix with hands or wooden spoon until dough is straw color. Roll out on floured board. Cut out with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. These make excellent holiday cookies and kids enjoy cutting them out. |
