ORANGE CHIFFON PIE | |
2/3 c. graham cracker crumbs 1 tbsp. melted butter 1/8 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1 pkg. orange sugar-free gelatin (Jello) 1 c. boiling water 1 tsp. grated orange rind 1/2 c. orange juice 1 pkg. sugar-free whipped topping (found in diatetic section of grocery) CRUST: Combine graham cracker crumbs, butter and cinnamon and nutmeg. Press into an 8-inch pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees 8 minutes. Cool. FILLING: In bowl, add gelatin to water, stirring until dissolved. Stir in orange rind and juice. Chill until slightly thickened. Make unsweetened topping and fold into orange gelatin mixture. Pour into pie shell. Chill. Garnish with an orange twist. Good for diabetics. |
