ORIENTAL SALAD | |
1 Chinese cabbage, chopped 1/2 c. red onion, sliced or chopped 1/2 c. sliced radishes 1 stick butter (or less) 2 pkgs. Ramen noodles, uncooked 1/2 c. salted sunflower seeds 1/2 c. sliced almonds 1/4 c. red wine vinegar 1/2 c. oil 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. soy sauce Mix onion, radishes, and cabbage in very large bowl. Melt butter and crush Ramen noodles until in small pieces. Mix butter, Ramen noodles, sunflower seeds, and almonds together on cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool. Just before serving, mix all and toss with a dressing made with the vinegar, oil, sugar, and soy sauce. (Great for parties - feeds a crowd). |
