UNBAKED FRUIT CAKE 
1 lb. graham cracker crumbs
1 lb. marshmallows
1 lb. pecans
2 c. raisins
1 c. sugar
1 bottle cherries
Grated rind of 1 lemon
1/2 lb. butter
3 tbsp. wine or brandy (optional)

Cook raisins in sugar with just enough water to keep from scorching. Add marshmallows and butter after you have taken the raisins and sugar off the stove and allowed to cool just a little. When marshmallows have melted, add rest of ingredients. Shape in roll or square and wrap in waxed paper. Put in ice box. As soon as it is cold, it is ready for serving.
