JAMBALAYA 
3 lb. chicken, cut up
1/2 lb. ham, cubed
3 tbsp. oil
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. uncooked rice

Flour and salt the chicken and brown in the oil, remove from skillet and brown the ham in the same skillet, remove from skillet. Add seasonings and broth and simmer for 10 minutes. Add rice and meat putting the chicken and ham on top of rice. Cover and cook on low heat 25 minutes. (Use of electric skillet is handy).
