APPLE DUMPLINGS 
1 can Hungry Jack biscuits (or any other brand), split in middle
5 apples
1 c. sugar
1 c. apple juice
1 c. butter (2 sticks) or less
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Peel and core apples. Cut into quarters. Take biscuits and divide (make 2 biscuits out of one.) Makes 20 pieces.

Take biscuits with fingers and pull out toward sides making them large enough to wrap one quarter of apple. Pinch together to cover apple. Place these in greased pan. Next, mix well apple juice, sugar and cornstarch and pour over dumplings. Pour melted butter over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until brown or done. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
