LAZY DAY STEW 
2 lbs. stew meat
Potatoes
Carrots
Celery
Onions
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 can water
1 tsp. sugar
Salt & pepper
2 tsp. quick cook tapioca

Arrange beef in pan large enough to hold them single layer. DO NOT brown meat. Cut potatoes, carrots, onions and celery in good size chunks and layer on top of the meat. Now mix the 8 ounce can of tomato sauce with 1 can water and 1 teaspoon sugar.

Pour over meat and vegetables. Add salt and pepper to taste. Last of all sprinkle with tapioca. DO NOT stir. Seal tightly in heavy foil and place in 325 degree oven for at least 2 hours. Do not peek during cooking time. When done, meat will be nicely browned with gravy.
