GERMAN POTATO PANCAKES 
3 lbs. potatoes
1 onion, med. size
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg
Salt and pepper to taste
Crisco

Grate potatoes and onion. Mix in all ingredients well. Fry in Crisco. Use a tablespoon, scoop and place one at a time in frying pan. Heat oil. When edges get a light brown turn over. Can be eaten with sour cream or applesauce.
