ROSETTES 
1 c. flour
2 eggs
2 tsp. sugar
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond

Sift flour and measure. Beat eggs until very light. Add sugar, milk and flavoring, then flour. Beat thoroughly. Heat rosette iron in hot fat (375 degrees). Dip hot iron in batter. Fry in deep fat until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
