GINGERBREAD MEN | |
1 1/2 c. heavy cream 2 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 c. molasses 1 tbsp. ginger 2 tbsp. baking soda 9 c. all-purpose flour Whip cream. Add sugar, molasses, ginger and soda. Stir and beat 10 minutes. Add flour and work until smooth. Cover and put in a cool place overnight. Roll out portions on lightly floured board and cut out. Brush all flour from cookies, lightly brush with water. Bake 15 minutes at 250 degrees, decorate with powdered sugar frosting. Makes 3 dozen. |
