CINNAMON SUGAR SPARKLES 
1 c. softened butter
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 2/3 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. sugar

Beat butter and 1 1/4 cup of sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix the flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt; blend well. Chill dough. Shape into balls. Roll balls in 1/4 cup of sugar mixed with the 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

Place onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan while still warm.

NOTE: Can be mixed one day ahead and kept in the refrigerator until the next day to bake. The dough handles better if cooled for a while.
