CHUNKY POTATO SOUP 
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. minced onions
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper
4 c. milk
2 c. diced potato
1/2 to 3/4 tsp. salt

Melt butter; add flour until smooth and cook 1 minute. Gradually add milk. Stir in potatoes, onions, salt and pepper. Cook on medium, stirring frequently until thick and potatoes are done. Serve with shredded cheese, bacon and French bread.
