3 c. flour
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 to 2 c. raisins

Sift dry ingredients, add milk and eggs and beat dough stiff. Drop spoonful in hot fat until done.
