HAMBURGER BEAN BAKE | |
8 oz. bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled 1 med. onion, chopped 1 lb. ground round 2 (1 lb.) cans pork and beans 1/2 c. light molasses 1/2 c. ketchup 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Salt and pepper to taste. In a large skillet, prepare bacon and set aside. In a large bowl, drain off almost all fat. Saute' onion in fat and add to bacon. Brown ground round and drain fat and add to bacon and onion. Add all other ingredients and mix well but lightly. Bake at 375 degrees for 1/2 hour. Serve with tossed salad and dark bread. Good anytime of year. |
