GREEN CHILI 
1 1/2 lbs. round steak, cut into 1/2-inch strips
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. oregano
2 tbsp. oil
1 lg. can whole tomatoes
1 can chopped green chili (as hot as you like)
1 lg. onion, chopped

Mix flour, garlic and oregano. Coat meat with flour mixture and brown in oil in 3- to 4-quart pot. Cut tomatoes into fourths and add juice and all to meat, then add green chili and onions. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours, until tender. Serve on fried tortilla shell with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, Cheddar cheese and sour cream on top.
