FINGER TIP DRUMSTICKS 
3 lb. chicken wings, about 15
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. soy sauce
3 tbsp. cornstarch

Divide each wing in half by cutting through joint. Place in single layer on rack in broiler pan. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) turning once, 30 minutes.

Mix sugar, cornstarch, ginger and pepper in small saucepan; stir in water, lemon juice and soy sauce; cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils 3 minutes. Brush over wings, continue basting and turning several times about 40 minutes until richly glazed. Place in chafing dish and frame with lemon slices.
