STUFFED BELL PEPPERS 
4 green peppers (1 per person) tops and seeds removed
2 lg. stalks of celery
2 med. onions
2 cloves of garlic

Finely mince celery, onions, and garlic and divide into 2 parts. Blend together: 1 lb. lean ground beef 1 slice bacon, finely minced 1/2 of celery, onion and garlic Salt and pepper to taste

Pack lightly into peppers and place into a deep baking dish. Pour over all the following sauce blended together: 2 c. water 1 lg. can tomato sauce 2 lg. tomatoes, chopped 1 (16 oz.) can tomato puree

Remaining 1/2 of celery, onion, and garlic. Top peppers with a pat of butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours or until peppers are done. Baste with sauce a couple of times while baking. Serve with sour cream.
