PEAR HONEY 
8 c. chopped pears
1 lemon
1 lg. c. pineapple
5 c. sugar
1 tsp. ginger

Wash, core, pare, finely chop and measure pears. Add lemon (sliced), sugar, pineapple, ginger and 1/2 cup water to pears. Boil until thick. Pour boiling hot into canning jars and seal at once.
