SURPRISE MINT COOKIES | |
3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. butter 1 c. white sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 eggs, unbeaten 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. water 1 pkg. solid chocolate mint wafers Sift flour, baking soda, and salt. Cream butter (half other shortening may be used). Add sugars gradually. Add eggs, water, and vanilla. Enclose each chocolate wafer in about 1 tablespoon chilled dough. Place on greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees. |
