PEPPER CABBAGE 
2/3 c. sugar
8 tbsp. cooking oil
8 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 small head cabbage, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped

Mix the first 4 ingredients and bring them to a boil in small saucepan. Combine cabbage, onion and pepper in a bowl; pour sugar mixture over cabbage mixture. Chill.

Serves 6 to 8.
