TEXAS COUNTRY RIBS | |
8 lbs. country style pork ribs SAUCE: 1 garlic clove, sliced 1/4 c. salad oil 1 med. onion, minced 1 (14 oz.) bottle catsup 1/4 c. molasses 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce 1/2 tbsp. salt 3-4 tbsp. brown sugar Cook garlic in salad oil until lightly browned. Discard garlic, cook minced onion until tender, stir in remaining ingredients. Cover ribs with water, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 1 hour or until dark and tender. Remove from water. Spread sauce on ribs and broil at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. |
