SOUR CREAM POUNDCAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
10x sugar (opt.)

1. Mix soda and vanilla with sour cream, set aside.

2. Cream butter and sugar and add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3. Add flour and sour cream alternately to butter mixture. Mix well.

4. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Cook 80 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan. Sprinkle with 10x sugar.
