ROLLED OAT COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. ground raisins
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

You first combine the shortening, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and the ground raisins. Then, add the remaining ingredients and roll the cookie dough out on a lightly floured surface. Cut with a cookie cutter. Bake 10 to 12 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees.
