APPLE DUMPLINGS 
6 apples, pared and cored
Pastry dough for 9 inch
2 crust pie
Into each apple place one marshmallow.

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

This is enough for 6 apples. (1 teaspoon for each apple.)

Place each apple on square of pastry dough and dot with butter. Bring opposite points over apple, moisten with water and seal. Place in baking dish.

1 c. sugar
2 c. water
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. Karo syrup

Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. Pour hot syrup over apples and bake in a 425 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
