HASHED BROWN POTATO BAKE 
1 lb. pkg. frozen hashed browns, slightly thawed
1/4 stick butter
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper

Melt butter in bottom of 8x8 inch bake and serve dish or pan. Spread potatoes over butter. Pour whipping cream over potatoes. Salt and pepper. Sprinkle cheese over top. Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more until lightly browned. Cut into serving squares. Remove with spatula and invert so crunchy bottom is on top.
